How DBS Digitally Transformed Financial Education with an Ongoing Virtual Event

DBS, a leading financial services group in Asia, needed a way to educate and engage SMEs and startups during the pandemic, replacing the impact of its physical events with a scalable digital format. Working with EventX, DBS set out to deliver a free virtual educational conference that could share expert insights on business challenges, market trends, and technology updates while also supporting networking among attendees.

EventX implemented a mix of live-streamed and on-demand webinars, plus an online exhibitor area, special offers page, and chat-based name card exchange. The ongoing event attracted strong demand, with nearly 1,000 registrations before launch and more than 1,400 registrations overall, and DBS praised EventX’s fast customer support; the main lesson learned was the need for an automatic quota top-up to handle the rapid sign-up surge.
