Meeting PCI-DSS Compliance at Autoscribe

Autoscribe, a payment processing company handling over $4 billion annually for more than 800 clients, needed to meet PCI-DSS requirements and protect its systems from internal, external and emerging threats. After evaluating SIEM options, Autoscribe selected EventTracker’s SIEM solution—notably for its real-time correlation/alerting, ease of use, prebuilt PCI-mapped reports and an integrated change management module—to address complex logging, monitoring and compliance demands.

EventTracker was implemented to provide real-time log monitoring, correlation, alerting, file integrity monitoring and an integrated change-management capability (covering PCI sections 10 and 11.5, and supporting section 12). The solution delivers scheduled and ad-hoc PCI reports, secure centralized log storage with MD5 checksums, and 100% visibility across Autoscribe’s environment without a large security team. As a result, Autoscribe can demonstrate PCI adherence, receive real-time alerts on unauthorized access or configuration changes, and continuously manage risk from brute-force, insider and zero-day attacks.
