EventTracker supplements IT department of financial organization

Long-Standing Community Bank, a New Jersey–based community bank with about $2.3bn in assets, a centralized IT function supporting a head office and 25 branches, and an eight-person IT/security team, needed a cost‑effective log management and monitoring solution to meet regulatory auditing requirements and improve incident response. After early trials with other products, the bank engaged EventTracker and piloted EventTracker’s Simplified SIEM managed service to supplement its small IT department.

EventTracker deployed a managed SIEM that now monitors roughly 700 endpoints (about 100 servers, ~60% virtualized) and ingests 5–6 million events per day; EventTracker’s professional services collate and analyze those events into a handful of daily actionable alerts, eliminating the need to review 50‑page daily reports. The vendor also provides timely incident notification and strong support, substantially reducing log‑management overhead, improving investigation capabilities, and enabling the IT team to focus on higher‑priority work.
