EventTracker at San Bernardino County Superior Court

San Bernardino County Superior Court, supporting over 15 court locations and roughly 800 employees across the largest contiguous U.S. county, was struggling with slow, manual correlation of Windows and UNIX logs. Kevin Arden, the Court’s supervising IT analyst responsible for about 1,200 desktops and 35 servers, needed a centralized event management solution and chose EventTracker to streamline searches, reporting and real-time monitoring.

EventTracker was installed quickly (console and agents in about 20–30 minutes) and delivered real-time event categorization, searchable logs, automated alerts (including cell‑phone notifications), ad hoc/professional reports, and the ability to run actions based on events. As a result, the Court significantly reduced incident response time (for example, receiving alerts and restoring servers before Monday downtime), saved staff time and downtime, required minimal ongoing manpower, only a couple hours of training, and proved stable in daily use.
