The Liberal Democrats, a UK political party with more than 60,000 members, faced a major challenge when new Home Office regulations required every attendee at its party conferences to be fully vetted by the UK Police National Accreditation Team (NAT). To meet these security demands, the party needed to add a new accreditation step to its online registration process and integrate its Eventsforce event management system with the NAT database.

Eventsforce worked closely with the Liberal Democrats and the police accreditation team to design new workflows and collect the required attendee data, including photos, passport details, and previous addresses. The integration automatically sent registration data to NAT for review, returned approval status to Eventsforce, and triggered attendee emails with updates. This two-way data flow streamlined accreditation and gave the conference team clear visibility into each application’s status within Eventsforce.
