UCI’s Donald Bren School of Information & Computer Sciences needed a better way to manage alumni-related events, especially semi-annual Leadership Council meetings. Kristin Huerth was handling invitations and responses through email and a separate spreadsheet, which made tracking attendance time-consuming and inefficient. Eventene provided an all-in-one event management system to streamline the process.

With Eventene, UCI was able to set up the Leadership Council event, import member lists, send detailed email invitations with logistics and pre-reading materials, and automatically track responses and reminders. The result was a 100% response rate and a savings of 4–5 hours of planning time for a single meeting. Eventene’s efficiency made it easier for UCI to use the platform for other events throughout the year.
