The Sons of the American Legion’s Ronald Reagan Palisades Squadron 283 needed a way to host a live-streamed virtual fundraiser for its Living History series, benefiting hospital workers at the Los Angeles VA Hospital and California Veterans Home-West LA. They turned to Eventene to support the event promotion, website, email communication, registration, ticketing, donations, and event flow, alongside Zoom for the live-streamed presentation and Q&A.
Eventene helped the squadron seamlessly integrate Zoom into the event experience, collect ticket payments and optional donations, and track who had paid or not while generating summary reports for accountants. The virtual fundraiser was a success, raising important funds for the local VA, and Eventene also supported post-event follow-up with a survey for auction winners about book pickup or mailing preferences.
