MozCon, a marketing conference known for its high-quality speakers and affordable pricing, needed a way to grow attendance while keeping registration costs low and managing a small team’s limited bandwidth. To do that, MozCon turned to Eventbrite and its event management tools to better understand ticket sales, plan promotions over a longer timeline, and streamline registration and check-in.

Using Eventbrite reports and the Eventbrite Organizer App, MozCon built a year-round ticketing strategy, monitored sales in real time, and adjusted marketing based on what was working. The results included attendance growth of 152% since 2011, earlier ticket sales momentum, less staff time spent on setup and attendee changes, and a faster, smoother check-in experience that became one of the highest-rated parts of the event.
