Case Study: Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation achieves faster registration and higher fundraising with Eventbrite

A Eventbrite Case Study

Preview of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Case Study

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s 5K in New York pays honor to Stephen Siller, a firefighter who sacrificed his life on 9/11 when he strapped on his gear and ran through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center

Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which honors first responders through its annual 5K and other endurance events, needed a registration platform that could simplify sign-up, connect race registration with fundraising, and help participants share the event with their networks. As the foundation’s events grew, it turned to Eventbrite and CrowdRise to make the process faster and easier.

Eventbrite implemented a seamless two-step registration flow and integrated fundraising so participants could register and create a peer-to-peer fundraising page in one experience. The results were strong: registration time dropped 3x, fundraising per participant increased by 11%, and 50% of event traffic came through Facebook sharing.
