SAP, the enterprise software giant behind SAPPHIRE NOW and the ASUG Annual Conference, needed a way to enhance the attendee experience at its massive event while showcasing innovation, improving navigation, and gathering better insights from tens of thousands of participants. To meet these goals, SAP worked with Eventbase and its event app platform to support the show’s complex needs across the convention center and exhibit areas.

Eventbase implemented indoor location and wayfinding using beacons, built-in 3D Deep Maps, and real-time app integrations to help 20,000 attendees navigate the venue. The solution also delivered heat maps, dwell-time data, and attendee behavior insights for organizers, helping SAP optimize future events and maximize sponsor and exhibitor value.
