ShopStyle, the social shopping website, was looking for a new way to engage customers after email campaigns were underperforming. Ahead of its biggest seasonal sale, the company needed a channel that could drive traffic back to its site at a specific time. Eventable’s calendar-based marketing platform, including its “Add to Calendar” functionality, was used to help solve this challenge.
Eventable enabled ShopStyle to promote its sale through dynamic calendar reminders on social media and in email, giving customers a personalized way to remember the event and return on the day of the sale. The campaign delivered strong results for Eventable and ShopStyle, with 45.9% of recipients adding the reminder to their calendar, a 53.6% click-through rate on the calendar event link, and a 44.3x return on investment.
