The customer, a heavy-duty transport operator along Nordic highways, required a reliable energy infrastructure capable of operating in heavy snow and extreme cold temperatures around -25°C. Their challenge was to find stable energy storage and high-power charging solutions with long-term reliability for these harsh conditions. Vendor EVB addressed this need with their energy storage systems and DC fast chargers.

EVB deployed two 100 kW / 241 kWh liquid-cooled energy storage systems and two 180 kW DC fast chargers, all designed for operation down to -30°C. The project operator reported stable operation throughout the winter, with the system delivering reliable power and efficient fast charging performance.
