BELBIM, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s electronic money and payment services company, needed to accelerate the digital transformation of Istanbulkart, bring all customer interactions into one place, and use personalization to improve engagement. To support this, BELBIM worked with EVAM and its cross-channel campaign management capabilities to better manage customer journeys across SMS, email, and push notifications.
EVAM helped BELBIM run 14 campaigns focused on acquisition, retention, loyalty, and QR code adoption, while using smart segmentation, real-time communication, and event-based analysis across millions of daily transactions. As a result, the number of users making QR code payments grew from 70,000 to 500,000, non-transportation transactions doubled, and top-ups via the Istanbulkart mobile app increased 8x.
