Enabling through-life support of BAE Systems GCS vehicles with ShareAspace

BAE Systems Hägglunds, a subsidiary of the global defense company BAE Systems, faced a market-driven need to transform its business model by expanding into aftermarket fleet management. This required a structured process to collect and share detailed design and operational information for each vehicle over its entire 30-year lifecycle. To address this challenge, they partnered with vendor Eurostep.

Eurostep implemented its ShareAspace PLM Collaboration platform to create the Through-Life Capability portal. This secure, web-based solution serves as a central repository for all vehicle data, enabling controlled access for customers and partners. The implementation by Eurostep enabled new revenue streams from aftermarket services, improved operational agility and efficiency, and provided a secure environment for collaboration, significantly contributing to BAE Systems' bottom line.
