State of Texas launches TexasOnline in under 3 months with Eureka Software

The State of Texas faced the challenge of consolidating data from over 80 disparate state and local government agencies into a single, integrated online portal. To achieve this, they chose Eureka Software as a key strategic partner to design and build the infrastructure for the new website, TexasOnline.

Eureka Software designed and built an XML-based content taxonomy and consolidated search indexes, which were pivotal in enabling the site managers to organize and publish content. Their efforts were crucial in taking the project from concept to launch in under three months. The resulting portal, TexasOnline, became the state's official website and its first comprehensive government-wide search tool, an achievement that was recognized with a prestigious Technology Integrator Award from the Center for Digital Government.
