The City of Lynchburg faced limited in-person payment options—especially for cash payers—and inconsistent back-office processes across departments that made reconciliation and reporting tedious and error-prone. To centralize payments, automate bill processing, maximize collections and improve customer access, the City engaged Euna Solutions to provide a municipal payment solution.
Euna Solutions deployed three 24/7 self-service Euna Payments kiosks (at City Hall, Lynchburg Public Library and River Ridge Mall) and its Revenue Management reconciliation tool, enabling one-stop payment of seven debt types with cash, check or card. The kiosks reduced lines and centralized payment visibility, sped up resolution of transaction discrepancies, and improved staff efficiency; measurable results include 44% repeat users and 61% of kiosk payments made by cash or check.
