How the City of Chicago Leveled the Playing Field with Euna Payments

The City of Chicago faced an inefficient in-person bill payment system: limited payment center locations and hours forced residents into long lines or to use check‑cashing businesses with high fees and the risk of late penalties. To address this, the City partnered with Euna Solutions and implemented its Euna Payments self‑service kiosks.

Euna Solutions deployed 103 Euna Payments kiosks across City Hall, libraries, police stations and neighborhood sites—many operating 24/7—and integrated them with the City’s source systems so payments post immediately. The rollout cut average transaction time to 60 seconds or less, reduced per‑transaction fees for residents, eased staff workload, and expanded secure, local access to bill payment.
