How the City of Bellevue, WA Enhanced the Bill Payment Experience with Cloud-Based Cashiering

The City of Bellevue needed a faster, more secure way for residents and businesses to make in-person payments after its prior cashiering solution went unsupported. Residents were forced to travel to multiple locations, high‑value checks couldn’t be processed, and siloed backend systems made reporting and reconciliation difficult. Bellevue selected Euna Solutions to deliver a cloud‑based cashiering solution (Euna Payments/Euna Cashiering) that would be PCI‑compliant and centralize payments across departments.

Euna Solutions implemented Euna Payments across five city agencies, integrating with four source systems (JDE, CIS, Cayenta, Amanda) and consolidating revenue in the Revenue Management back office. In four months Euna Solutions completed four integrations and onboarded five departments; the platform now handles about 1,000 transactions per month, enables Image Cash Letter check processing, centralizes reporting and reconciliation, reduces cashier stations (and costs), and assumes PCI scope to improve security and future expansion to kiosks and online channels.
