Mount Prospect, a village of about 50,000 in the northwest Chicago suburbs, faced secure, convenient payment challenges for utilities and municipal services: residents’ varied schedules, limited access or comfort with online payments, and reliance on an insecure dropbox made collecting and recording payments difficult. To modernize payments, Mount Prospect selected Euna Solutions, deploying the Euna Payments online portal and an outdoor self-service kiosk to provide both device-based and in-person options.
Euna Solutions implemented the kiosk and Euna Payments portal with centralized Revenue Management, PCI scope reduction, and consolidated backend reporting, giving residents 24/7 access, instant posting, and recurring-payment capabilities. The village now sees 94% average monthly repeat users, over 3,900 average monthly transactions, a 50% YoY increase in kiosk usage (56% after-hours), and 5,300+ online users, while staff benefit from faster reconciliation and expected annual savings of $50,000+.
