The American Waterways Operators (AWO), the national advocate for the U.S. tugboat, towboat, and barge industry, needed to streamline two time-consuming processes: integrating RCP (safety management) certification tracking into membership workflows and replacing paper-based annual equipment reporting. To address this, AWO selected Euclid Technology and its ClearVantage platform to automate certification tracking and digitize member reporting.

Euclid Technology configured ClearVantage to incorporate RCP requirements into membership records—automatically tracking certification deadlines, sending up to 15 customized reminder emails, updating records when documentation is received, and validating membership status—and built online, pre-populated web forms for vessel inventories that support multiple vessel types and year-over-year data carryover. The result: paper forms and manual entry were replaced by a user-friendly digital process, streamlining submissions for fleets of 1–100 vessels and saving AWO staff and members measurable time and money.
