Case Study: Gexpro Services achieves $200K/yr savings and improved inventory control with eTurns eVMI IoT solution

A eTurns Case Study

Preview of the Gexpro Services Case Study

Gexpro Services saves customer $200k/yr by optimizing inventory with eTurns Trackstock SensorBins

Gexpro Services was working with a large Colorado manufacturing customer that had no visibility or control over point-of-use inventory, resulting in excess material, frequent downtime alerts, and heavy administrative burden. To address this, Gexpro Services implemented eTurns’ eVMI Smart Replenishment IoT solution from vendor eTurns to provide sensor-based, cloud-connected monitoring and automated replenishment.

eTurns deployed weight-sensing bins and a cloud application that converts weight to quantity, triggers automatic orders into Gexpro Services’ ERP, and provides real-time reporting and alerts. The solution eliminated hardware-related downtime messages, cut Gexpro Services’ inventory-management time in half, delivered at least $200,000/year in administrative savings by removing purchase orders, reduced on-hand piece-part inventory by about 10% on average when parts are added, and allowed redeployment of buyer labor — all enabled by eTurns’ eVMI system.
