Rheem, a global manufacturer of heating, cooling and water‑heating products, faced inefficient manual processes (Excel) for ISO compliance and supplier management and needed a scalable way to build and document quality and compliance applications across the business.
Rheem implemented ETQ Reliance, creating an R‑log and a Reliance Development Life Cycle (RDLC) form/workflow to standardize requirements, design, preview and launch of new applications. The RDLC took about 400 hours to develop but saved roughly 3,000 man‑hours (~$94,000) across three projects in its first year (a ~650% ROI), has been scaled company‑wide, and freed development resources while speeding rollout of future solutions.
