Maple Leaf Farms is a fourth-generation, family-owned leader in value-added duck products that faced growing document control and record-keeping challenges as it pursued GFSI certification and prepared for FSMA compliance. The company needed better organization of data, faster reporting, and improved training tracking across the enterprise.

Maple Leaf Farms selected ETQ Reliance for its cost-effective, web-based platform, AS/400 integration, modular design and configurability. Implementations such as direct customer-complaint entry and QA-initiated CAPAs, plus rolling out Document Control, have standardized documents company-wide, reduced paper use, sped reporting, and improved audit readiness; the company is now expanding Reliance modules (training, calibration, risk) to further streamline processes.
