NPCL (Noida Power Company Limited), a fast-growing utility serving customers near New Delhi, embarked on a journey to transform its traditional operations into a smart grid as part of a national initiative. To improve network reliability, performance, and customer response for its demanding base of 71,000 customers, NPCL turned to vendor ETAP for a solution.

ETAP implemented its Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), an integrated solution featuring SCADA, DMS, and OMS functionalities. This model-based system automated business processes and enhanced network performance. The results were significant, including over $21 million in savings over six years, $9 million in asset integrity and reliability savings, faster outage restoration, and more efficient power delivery.
