Kuwait Oil Company reduces site visits with ETAP real-time power monitoring

The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), a leading oil and gas company, faced challenges in managing its electrical systems due to the absence of a unified management system, inefficient coordination of power reservations, and difficulties in obtaining real-time visualizations. To address this, KOC partnered with vendor ETAP to implement an integrated Electrical Information Management System (EIMS) using products including ETAP GIS, eSCADA, NetPM, and ETAP eWeb.

ETAP's solution delivered geospatial visualization of multiple networks, integrated reservation and work order management, and real-time system monitoring. The results for KOC included improved power management and resource optimization, accelerated decision-making, a reduction in necessary site visits, and enhanced overall system reliability and efficiency.
