City of Azusa uses ETAP eSCADA to manage 60 MW summer peak loads

The City of Azusa, a municipality serving 17,000 electric customers, faced operational inefficiencies due to its reliance on disparate systems for data management and a lack of local support. To address this challenge, the city selected ETAP's eSCADA software for a fully-integrated solution to optimize its electrical network operations.

ETAP implemented a complete turnkey SCADA system based on a digital twin model, enabling centralized and remote management. As a result, the City of Azusa can now closely monitor its substations and feeder loads, which is critical for managing its average summer peak load of 60 MW. This new system from ETAP has provided the utility with the tools needed to accomplish its mission of delivering reliable service.
