The customer, a major European pharmaceutical company, faced a significant challenge in coordinating its heat and electricity demands, minimizing balancing energy, and obtaining decision support for energy procurement in its production facilities. To address this, the company turned to vendor Etalytics and implemented its etaONE® software for AI-driven optimization.

Etalytics implemented its etaONE® solution to model the client's energy system, enabling optimal control by integrating and optimizing data from various sources like electricity prices and demand. The results were substantial, with the company achieving annual savings of 5% on costs, 1,285 MWh of energy, and a reduction of 697 tCO₂e. The project also enhanced system transparency through virtual sensors and custom dashboards, prompting a further expansion of the solution to additional sites.
