Targus, a global maker of laptop bags, tablet cases and mobile computing accessories, needed to reinvent its ecommerce strategy to reach B2C customers across marketplaces without replacing its legacy inventory management. To do this it engaged Etail Solutions and implemented an Etail/Shopify approach to distribute product listings, capture orders from channels like Amazon, Walmart and eBay, and enable B2C fulfillment alongside existing systems.
Etail Solutions integrated Targus’ 1P and 3P channels, launched a Shopify-powered branded site, connected regional marketplaces, 3PLs and distributors, and automated order-to-shipment workflows to give centralized visibility and control. As a result Targus is rolling the Etail/Shopify solution across North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia and reports ecommerce growth of 50%–300% year-over-year as the program scales.
