Franchising and eCommerce work together at Stirling Sports

Stirling Sports, a New Zealand sportswear retailer with 60 franchise stores, needed to overcome the complexity of eCommerce in a franchise model. Their existing online infrastructure made order allocation and fulfilment difficult across both franchise and company-owned stores, and they wanted to launch customer-friendly features like Click & Collect and Find in Store. eStar was brought in to provide a more effective enterprise eCommerce platform, including CMS, hosting, and order management capabilities.

eStar implemented a custom eCommerce solution with pricing, product and stock integrations, responsive site design, and pull-based fulfilment through its OMF module to allocate orders only when stores were ready to fulfil them. The new setup improved customer experience and store efficiency, and helped Stirling Sports achieve strong growth, including a 11% increase in conversion rates, 26% more total sessions, and 34% more new users, with results accelerating during COVID-19.
