University of Iowa Community Credit Union (UICCU) is a member-owned financial cooperative headquartered in North Liberty, Iowa, serving 125,000 members across 13 offices with over $2.6 billion in assets and ongoing branch expansion. Its small facilities team—led by Facilities and Services Manager Jim Davis—struggled with inefficient, paper- and IT‑helpdesk–based workflows that couldn’t handle preventative maintenance (PM) scheduling, growing service request volumes, or asset-location relationships.

In August 2013 UICCU implemented eSSETS’ cloud-based enterprise asset management software, gaining PM scheduling, workflow-driven work orders, a “Places & Things” activity view, and mobile access for staff. The system streamlined request handling and inspections, saved multiple hours per week, supported the opening of four new branches, and improved prioritization and resource allocation—while UICCU and eSSETS continue to refine the solution.
