BioCity, a 20-acre UK biotech incubator and science park, needed mission-critical, flexible connectivity and fast onboarding to serve a diverse mix of life-science startups and established occupiers across multiple sites. To remain competitive and meet strict security and resilience requirements, BioCity partnered with essensys and deployed the Connect platform (with essensysCloud).

essensys carried out a large-scale migration to Connect, modernising switches, Wi‑Fi and network infrastructure with minimal disruption and adding an automatic backup connection for always-on service. The Connect platform automated provisioning (services set up in a few clicks), simplified management for non-technical staff, improved uptime and resilience, and helped BioCity reduce operational effort and churn while scaling services across locations.
