Case Study: Three Rivers Park District achieves faster workflows and improved collaboration with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise

A ESRI Case Study

Park District Saves Time, Improves Collaboration Using ArcGIS Enterprise

Three Rivers Park District, which manages 27,000 acres of parks and serves nearly 11 million visitors annually, faced a fragmented GIS environment with thousands of datasets, a two-person GIS team, and time-consuming manual processes to make data available to field crews. To modernize and scale without growing staff, the district turned to ESRI technologies including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online and Collector for ArcGIS to centralize data and improve access.

Using ESRI’s ArcGIS Enterprise (with the Enterprise portal) and distributed collaboration between Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, Three Rivers Park District automated data sharing, enabled self-service publishing, and eliminated manual service registration. The change reduced field publishing turnaround from a day or two to minutes, supported seven groups of data collectors across more than 20 parks, and improved workflows under a “three clicks or less” approach—saving time, boosting collaboration, and empowering users.
