Location Insights Power the Solar and Wind Energy Industry

Aegean Energy Group, which provides the Maps to Megawatts service for wind and solar developers, faced slow, labor-intensive field data workflows—photo cataloging and paper forms that took roughly three months to process—and needed better QA/QC and faster distribution of results to stakeholders. To address this, Aegean Energy deployed ESRI’s ArcGIS solutions, including ArcGIS Insights, ArcGIS Collector, and ArcGIS Survey123, to modernize field collection and location analytics.

Using ESRI’s ArcGIS Insights with Collector and Survey123, Aegean Energy automated data capture, implemented link-analysis QA/QC, and created visual dashboards and inspection workflows that let inspectors update task status in the field. The implementation cut multi-month processing delays to near real-time visibility, eliminated hours of manual data reconciliation, improved inspection efficiency, and enabled faster, collaborative reporting and issue resolution across stakeholders.
