Dublin Airport Transforms Data Management with ArcGIS Enterprise

Dublin Airport Authorty, Ireland’s busiest airport, was struggling with thousands of disparate CAD files, paper-based workflows, and a single overworked keeper of critical asset records. To centralize data, meet EASA audit standards, and give many users secure access, the airport engaged ESRI to deploy ArcGIS Enterprise along with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Dashboards, Survey123, Collector, and Tracker.

ESRI built a high-availability ArcGIS Enterprise system, converting 921 CAD layers into a primary geodatabase of 37 GIS layers, publishing feature services, and enabling Active Directory single-sign-on so thousands of staff and contractors can access one authoritative map. The deployment streamlined maintenance and incident reporting (using Survey123/Collector/Tracker and Dashboards), improved data governance and security, accelerated workflows and coordination, and earned the airport industry recognition including an ESRI Special Achievement in GIS Award.
