Case Study: Airspace Link achieves rapid, actionable UAS analytics for safer drone operations with Esri ArcGIS Insights

A ESRI Case Study

Preview of the Airspace Link Case Study

Detroit Software Company Supports Client Drone Operations with Data and Analysis Software

Airspace Link, a Michigan-based UAS technology company, needed digital infrastructure and rapid geospatial analytics to support safe, legal drone operations and to bridge the gap between data scientists and traditional GIS workflows. To meet this challenge they evaluated tools and adopted ESRI’s ArcGIS Insights for its familiar Esri ecosystem, analytical features, and short learning curve.

Using ESRI’s ArcGIS Insights on their AirHub data repository, Airspace Link combined 50–60 authoritative data sources to produce interactive dashboards and rapid prototypes, enabling data scientists to work independently and generate meaningful analytics in minutes. The solution reduced time and cost for modeling and delivery, sped client-ready results and visualizations, and supported a VyrtX proof-of-concept that could cut organ transport time from 19 hours to 6 hours or less.
