Esper’s connected device solution gets 10,000 students online in rural India

Teach For India needed a way to support lower-income students in rural India with remote learning during COVID-19. Traditional MDM tools weren’t enough for their needs around device security, app control, monitoring, and student engagement, so they turned to Esper and its Android device management platform.

Esper helped Teach For India deploy Android tablets with zero-touch enrollment, remote control, device lockdown, SafeSearch, and strict allow/block lists. The rollout enabled 100% remote support and real-time visibility into device and app usage, and Teach For India has since enrolled and deployed almost 12,000 devices to students who needed them most.
