A eSpatial Case Study
Lauren Concrete, a leading ready-mix concrete provider with 26 plants and over 250 trucks across Central Texas, needed a better way to determine which plant was the most cost-effective to serve each delivery area. Because material costs varied by plant, the company wanted to identify low-cost service areas, understand where shipping was most expensive, and find opportunities to improve territory decisions using eSpatial.
Lauren Concrete used eSpatial to analyze hundreds of thousands of ticket records, calculate the lowest material and delivery cost for each job, and map those results with color-coded points and polygons. eSpatial helped turn complex data into clear visual insights for leadership, revealing that some plants had much smaller or larger service areas than expected and uncovering potential shipping cost savings of $1.7 million.
