A eSpark Learning Case Study

Quincy Public Schools boosts Reading growth to the 83rd percentile with eSpark Learning

Quincy Public Schools faced challenges in supporting K-5 students with varying foundational skills, particularly after the pandemic, while also helping teachers implement new reading and math curricula without being overwhelmed. They sought a more intentional technology solution to strengthen core instruction and close learning gaps, turning to their long-term partner, eSpark Learning, and its eSpark platform.

The solution involved a district-wide implementation of eSpark, providing over 2,000 students with personalized, adaptive pathways in reading, writing, phonics, and math that aligned with the new curricula. eSpark Learning's AI assistant, Nova, helped bridge curriculum and practice. The results were significant: students using eSpark surpassed national growth benchmarks, achieving an average 83rd percentile in Reading and 76th in Math on NWEA MAP assessments. Notably, students who started in the lowest performance tercile saw even stronger gains, helping to close opportunity gaps.
