Piedmont City Schools boosts K-2 growth to the 60th percentile with eSpark Learning

Piedmont City Schools, a district facing economic hardship and educational inequity, sought to leverage its new 1:1 technology infrastructure to drive student growth and empower teachers to meet diverse learning needs. The district partnered with eSpark Learning to provide personalized learning experiences in math and ELA for 300 K-2 students.

eSpark Learning used NWEA MAP assessment data to diagnose student levels and deliver differentiated instruction. The solution streamlined classroom differentiation for teachers and incorporated student-created videos for assessment. After implementation, students saw significant gains, with average math scores rising to the 60th percentile and reading to the 57th percentile. eSpark also reported a 93% student enjoyment rate of the learning content and was highly praised by teachers for its engagement and data insights.
