Gold Cross Ambulance, based in Salt Lake City, needed a better way to connect with hospital data so it could measure quality, improve care, and get patient outcome feedback back to its EMTs and paramedics. ESO provided the Health Data Exchange (HDE) solution to help Gold Cross connect to Utah’s statewide health information exchange, CHIE.
With ESO HDE, Gold Cross Ambulance established two-way data sharing with hospitals, giving the organization access to hospital outcome data for quality measurement and improvement. The implementation enabled better feedback loops for clinicians and supported ongoing performance improvement, helping Gold Cross turn hospital data into actionable insights.
