CWI to take advantage of ESM’s strategic partnership with Ellucian

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) partnered with ESM Solutions to upgrade its procurement and contract management capabilities, selecting ESM Purchase and ESM Contract Management with integration to Ellucian Colleague via the Ethos platform. Based in Nampa, Idaho, CWI serves 31,600 students and manages an annual budget of about $66.7 million; the college sought more sophisticated, user-friendly systems and tighter ERP integration than its existing tools provided.

ESM Solutions implemented an online shopping portal that directs users to preferred suppliers and pricing, integrates budget checking and funds encumbrance with Ellucian Colleague via Ethos, and supports the procure-through-receiving flow while retaining Colleague for payments. ESM also delivered a centralized, searchable contract repository with renewal alerts and deliverable tracking—measures expected to reduce rogue spend, improve accountability and transparency, and strengthen contract compliance, backed by ESM’s proven Ellucian integration and ongoing support.
