Thimm Verpackung, a major division of the Thimm Group and a leading European manufacturer of packaging, faced the challenge of using multiple disconnected design tools. This siloed approach resulted in time-consuming, costly, and error-prone packaging development processes across its 18 international locations. To modernize its business systems, the company sought a complete solution from vendor Esko.

Esko implemented its ArtiosCAD Enterprise solution, a centralized, cloud-based database that integrated with Thimm's existing MS Dynamics AX ERP system. This Esko solution standardized calculations, created a transparent cross-divisional workflow, and eliminated data redundancy. The results included significantly improved process reliability, data security, and collaboration. While specific savings figures were not yet available, the project was implemented in a record six months and freed up a significant amount of time and resources across the entire creative process.
