Sealed Air Embraces Esko’s Equinox to Improve Packaging Efficiencies

Sealed Air, a multinational packaging company with divisions in Food Care, Product Care, and Diversey Care, identified a challenge in its manufacturing process. The company sought to develop a new market offer and improve efficiencies for its flexible packaging business. To address this, Sealed Air partnered with Esko to implement its Equinox software solution.

By using Esko's Equinox fixed ink set printing solution, Sealed Air could convert spot colors into a predefined process at the prepress stage. This reduced the number of inks required and eliminated the need for wash-ups between jobs on press. The results for the customer included improved press uptime, reduced cycle times, and a more sustainable printing process due to optimized ink consumption, all with no compromise in print quality. Esko's solution provided complete predictability of color gamut and accuracy.
