Speeding up Order Processing and Improving Customer Service Thanks to Esker

Frit Ravich is a Spanish family-owned producer and distributor of snacks and dried fruit that was struggling with a high-volume, error-prone order-entry process. The company received a large number of orders in 13 different formats, requiring extensive manual correction before entry into SAP — eight of 16 CSRs spent much of their time fixing data, with an average of two manual changes and three minutes per order, leading to slow response times and accuracy issues.

To address this, Frit Ravich implemented Esker’s Order Processing solution, which quickly began electronically processing 2,600 monthly orders and uses recognition and machine learning to remember customer-specific formats and details. Orders are organized by cut-off and customer type and displayed on dashboards for real-time visibility; as a result, 44% of those orders now process without manual intervention (about 1,150), 75% of the remainder need only one change, two CSR positions’ worth of time was freed up, and overall order accuracy, processing speed and customer service markedly improved with seamless SAP integration.
