People’s Care, a California-based provider of residential, daycare and supported-living services serving over 1,000 clients, faced a slow, manual accounts payable process that required staff to key invoice data into Sage Intacct and route through Bill.com. The fragmented workflow created bottlenecks, poor visibility for district approvers and multi-day payment delays, hampering internal control and supplier relationships.

In January 2020 People’s Care implemented Esker’s AI-powered AP automation to capture and process incoming invoices electronically, centralize approvals and provide a single dashboard and mobile approvals via Esker Anywhere.
