A Esker Case Study
Kuriyama of America, Inc., a Schaumburg-based manufacturer and distributor of thermoplastic hoses and accessories with $202M in sales and roughly 1,500 active accounts, faced inefficient, manual collections after an ERP upgrade left invoice delivery automated but collections workflows fragmented. Credit Manager Andrea Linke reported time-consuming tasks like pulling and emailing statements and tracking calls via Excel, creating a need to centralize processes, reduce repetitive work and improve visibility into account and team performance.
Kuriyama implemented Esker’s cloud-based Collections Management solution to centralize customer data and automate tasks such as statement generation, call prioritization, rule-based task lists and performance reporting. Early results show statements and task creation now take seconds, the team has more time for strategic collections work, management visibility and reporting are greatly improved, and plans are underway to add a customer self-service portal for further AR optimization.
