A Esker Case Study
Luxasia, a Singapore‑headquartered luxury beauty retailer and distributor with operations across Asia, established a Shared Services Center in Malaysia to centralize accounting and automate supplier invoice processing. Prior to automation, manual purchase requisitions, printed POs, paper expense claims and manual SAP entry made workflows slow, costly and frustrating for employees and suppliers.
By deploying Esker’s Procure-to-Pay automation (integrated with SAP) and the Esker Anywhere mobile app, Luxasia automated 36,000 annual supplier invoices, removed paper approvals and sped approval workflows fourfold. Processing rates more than doubled, AP throughput rose from ~400 to over 1,000 invoices in the same time, capacity increased 2.5×, paper use dropped 80%, payment cycles were standardized across eight countries, and supplier portal adoption delivered cost savings and early‑payment opportunities.
