Esterline’s Kirkhill-TA facility in Valencia, CA, a manufacturer of clamping systems for civilian and military aviation, was struggling with a paper-heavy, manual order process for roughly 12,000 annual orders. Every incoming order was printed, manually entered into the ERP, then re-scanned and archived, creating waste, delays and limited capacity despite a lean-focused culture.
