Gaining Real Cost and Time Savings With Automated Order Processing

Enotria&Coe, the merged U.K. wine and spirits wholesaler formed from Enotria and Coe Vintners, supplies 300+ suppliers to 4,200+ customers and employs over 270 people. After the acquisition the business doubled in size and faced a sharp increase in sales orders—about 7,500 orders per month—being processed manually, which was time-consuming, error-prone and unsustainable without adding headcount.

Enotria&Coe implemented Esker’s automated order-processing solution integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and went live within 10 weeks. The automation slashed order-entry time from roughly 45 minutes for multi-line orders to under one minute, eliminated a high volume of data-entry errors, and allowed the company to handle double the workload without doubling staff, with plans to extend automation across more document processes.
