Choices, Inc., an Indianapolis nonprofit serving about 5,000 youth annually, needed a more reliable way to handle signature-required documents across five subsidiary locations. Although an Esker Fax server existed at their main office, subsidiaries still relied on manual faxing that caused misrouted paper, extra staff time and concerns about aging server hardware and the cost of deploying additional on-site servers, fax boards and phone lines.

Choices implemented Esker’s hosted desktop fax (SaaS), bringing all five locations online in one weekend and eliminating the need for onsite fax hardware. The service now processes roughly 2,600 inbound and 800 outbound pages monthly, delivering faxes directly to users’ inboxes for improved reliability and security, and reducing administrative staff handling faxes from four to two, cutting costs and downtime.
